HVAC Systems Top the Energy Efficiency Upgrade List, Johnson Controls Survey Finds

“HVAC improvements emerged as the most popular energy efficiency measure in Johnson Controls’ 2016 Energy Efficiency Indicator Survey, with 63 percent of respondents saying they had upgraded heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems within the past year.
Energy-focused educational programs were the next most common effort, cited by 52 percent of respondents, followed by building controls improvements (46 percent), water efficiency improvements (42 percent), onsite renewable energy (36 percent) and building systems integration (34 percent).”
